In her early carrier years, Bruna owned an interior design studio where she had an opportunity to explore different areas (residential, commercial and institutional), after five years she was ready for new challenges and bigger projects. Her capacity to solve problems led her to work for one of the top five International Management Company, where she managed Five-star hotels, Museums, Build to suit projects and others. Bruna managed LEED and Energy Efficiency Procel certifications of Award Winning Projects, that lead her to be a speaker at the Greenbuilding Brasil International Conference & Expo.

Sustainability has always been her passion even before she became a LEED GA and graduated from her MBA in Sustainable Building. She lived most of her life really close to one of the biggest Urban Forest in the world called Atlantic Forest in Rio de Janeiro. This taught her how important it is to always prioritize the connection between humans and nature to recover from urban stressed life. Being a surfer demonstrated how waves and sunlight have the power to balance our energy, with this set of mind, she made the decision to use her work as a way to contribute to the world that needs help to reduce the carbon emission.

According to the World Green Building Council: "building and construction are responsible for 39% of all carbon emissions in the world, with operational emissions (from energy used to heat, cool and light buildings) accounting for 28%. The remaining 11% comes from embodied carbon emissions or ‘upfront’ carbon that is associated with materials and construction processes throughout the whole building lifecycle".

Today besides Livin Flow Design CO, she is a volunteer at The Tri a Non-GMO organization that has a mission to empower, educate and engage people to act in a more sustainable living way.

The main goal now is to combine her work experience and passion to deliver a creative sustainable design to a vast audience helping to reduce our footprint as humankind, but also bring joy and flow state of mind to her clients.
