PECATU VILLA - BALI INDONESIA
Located on a compact lot in Pecatu, Bali, this villa is currently under construction and was designed around a single bold premise: maximum livability within a minimum footprint. The client's goal was a property that could generate short-term rental income while also functioning as a personal retreat. The design responds with three independently rentable units, each with its own entrance and lockable access — allowing the property to operate as three separate Airbnb listings simultaneously, or reconfigure so two units are rented while the owner occupies the private second-floor suite during personal visits.
Despite the tight lot, the project delivers everything on the client's wishlist, including a private plunge pool anchoring the outdoor courtyard. Two stacked volumes with a green roof terrace maximize the buildable area vertically, while full-height sliding glass panels, warm timber screens, and tropical planting create a seamless indoor-outdoor experience true to the Balinese spirit. Natural wood cabinetry, polished concrete floors, and stone countertops carry that material warmth throughout the interiors — the result is a property that feels generous, serene, and far larger than its footprint suggests.
